[아시아경제 금보령 기자] The market’s attention is focusing on whether Samsung Electronics’ stock price can rise to ‘90,000 won’ as the reported price is updated every day.

According to the Korea Exchange on the 1st, on the 30th of last month, Samsung Electronics closed the market at 81,000 won, up 3.45% (2700 won) compared to the previous trading day. This is the first time that Samsung Electronics’ closing price has exceeded 80,000 won. In particular, on that day, institutional investors, mainly financial investment, bought 97.7 billion won worth of net purchases.

Samsung Electronics has continued to record reported prices recently. Samsung Electronics, which exceeded the closing price of 70,000 won on the 4th of last month, made a new record with 7,800 won on the 24th and 78700 won on the 28th.

“Samsung Electronics’ share price is far exceeding the market rate due to expectations for an additional shareholder return policy for remaining financial resources, the possibility of a faster-than-expected DRAM price rebound, and favorable foundry demand.”

The stock price has raised the target price of Samsung Electronics. Korea Investment & Securities raised its target price from 81,000 won to 92,000 won, and Hyundai Motor Securities raised its target price from 80,000 won to 91,000 won.

It turned out that the value of the foundry business began to be reflected. As the CPU market for PCs and servers, which was led by Intel, diversifies to microprocessors based on ARM architecture, the value of TSMC and Samsung Electronics’ foundry that secure advanced process technology is increasing.

Yoo Jong-woo, a researcher at Korea Investment & Securities, said, “Samsung Electronics is still struggling to secure 5nm technology yield, but its share price is rising due to the expectation to benefit from the growth of the foundry market.” It will lead to further increase in the competitiveness and business value of the company.”
