Samsung DP Brings Out’Samsung OLED’ Brand After 13 Years

Samsung Display, the number one company in the small and medium-sized OLED market, has released a new brand logo to be used for its OLED products in 13 years.

On the 7th, Samsung Display announced that it has newly produced a brand called’Samsung OLED’ in order to imprint the differentiation and excellence of products in the market as a leading OLED company.

Samsung Display said, “The brand name Samsung OLED conveys the pride that pioneered the market by mass-producing OLED for the first time in the world in 2007, and the confidence that OLED is Samsung.” It contains the company’s vision to become a window that connects the world with the world. Also, the curves of the corners and the shape that folds freely like paper means the diffusion of OLED design.

Samsung SDI, which was in charge of display-related business within Samsung at the time, in 2007, benchmarked the case of Intel, which achieved successful marketing results through the brand’Intel inside’, and announced the brand’AMOLED’. There is a bar. Since then, AMOLED will be applied to Samsung Electronics’ flagship smartphone’Galaxy’ from 2010, establishing itself as a key element of premium smartphones.

To this end, trademark applications for new brands and logos have also been completed in 43 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and India, as well as 27 countries in the European Union.

Ji-ho Baek, head of small and medium-sized strategic marketing at Samsung Display, said, “We are launching a new brand logo to more clearly reveal our brand identity and differentiated technology as a leading company in the OLED market that is entering maturity.” Beyond that, you will be able to experience the differentiated technology unique to Samsung OLED in a wider area such as IT, automobiles, and game consoles.”
