Sales of BMW Korea M2 Competition Final Edition

BMW Korea announced on the 11th that it will release only 87 units of the’M2 Competition Final Edition’ in Korea.

Since the M2 Competition was launched in Korea in 2016, it has established itself as the standard for a high-performance compact coupe. Based on powerful and agile driving performance, M’s unique driving pleasure was provided not only for urban driving but also for track driving.

The M2 Competition Final Edition, the last limited edition of the M2 Competition, sells only 87 units according to the development codename’F87′. Finally, the M2 Competition will be officially discontinued in Korea. The new model is expected to be released to the global market in March 2023.

The new product is equipped with 19-inch M Y-spoke 788 M wheels in non-metallic jet black color, along with M sports brakes (6P front, 4P rear), which show stronger braking performance and durability than before. In particular, the gray colored M sports brake with the M logo is harmonized with the jet black colored wheels, emphasizing the image as a track machine.

In addition, for purchasers of this last limited edition, a total of 7.2 million won worth of M performance parts are provided for free. The M Carbon rear wing and M Carbon diffuser can be fitted at no additional cost if they are stocked to an official BMW service center for inspection of the break-in of a new car within 3 months of delivery.

The engine compartment is equipped with an M Twin Power Turbo inline six-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum output of 410 hp and a maximum torque of 56.1 kg∙m. The transmission is fitted with a 7-speed M double clutch. It takes 4.2 seconds to accelerate from stop to 100 km/h.

The price of the M2 Competition Final Edition is 79 million won.
