‘Safety Jackpot Hyori’ Volvo XC90 evolves into’cheap car’

The’safety pronoun’ Volvo’s flagship SUV and the Volvo XC90, known as’Hyori Sangsoon’, is coming to Korea with a stronger and more affordable look.

Volvo Korea announced on the 1st that it plans to release the mild hybrid model XC90 B6 in the first quarter of this year (January to March).

The Volvo XC90 is a large SUV that a couple of Lee Hyori and Sang-soon Lee got on from the popular TV program “Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast” and caught the eye.

Last July, KBS announcer Choi Dong-seok and broadcaster Park Ji-yoon’s family who were riding a Volvo XC90 attracted attention again due to a car accident.

This is because it is known that the couple suffered only minor injuries despite a major traffic accident that collided with a truck running in reverse in Busan.

In August of last year, Volvo released a limited edition of the Volvo XC90 T8 R design, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model. All 300 units allocated in Korea were sold out as soon as they were released.

The upcoming Volvo XC90 B6 is equipped with 48V Milve Hybrid and’B engine’, a new standard powertrain that replaces the existing internal combustion engine. Fuel economy is improved, responsiveness is agile, and driving performance is quieter.

The high-performance mild-hybrid B6 engine, first installed in the Volvo XC90 B6, also provides dynamic driving performance. The maximum output is 300 horsepower and the maximum torque is 42.8kg?m.

The top trim, Inscription, uses a premium sound system from Bowers & Wilkins UK, featuring a Continuum cone, a new amplifier, and noise cancellation.

A crystal gear knob in collaboration with Sweden’s Orrefors is also equipped as standard.

In addition to wireless charging for smartphones and a two-row USB C-type port, Volvo’s new safety option’Care Key’ is also installed. Domestic sales price is undecided
