This is 28-30% higher than the standard taxi (2.64 million won) and medium-sized taxi (2.69 million won) revenues, based on the statistics of operating income for each taxi vehicle type published by the city of Seoul.
In particular, it was found that in December, when the 2.5-step distance-taking was implemented and the restaurant operating hours were limited to 9 o’clock, in December, it increased more than twice the income (4.1 million won) compared to a model taxi (1.89 million won). VCNC explained that the result was due to the 50% discount campaign for mutual growth with private taxi operators.
At the time of the December campaign, the highest driving income among Tada Plus vehicles reached 8.2 million won per month.
VCNC said, “It is analyzed that the strong sales of Tada Plus were driven by win-win marketing, brand power, and increased customer satisfaction through improved service quality.”
VCNC plans to provide recruitment benefits worth up to 1.5 million won to private taxi operators that newly subscribe to Tada Plus by March.
