Ricardo Tisci’s first Burberry men’s line

British fashion house brand Burberry presented its 21 AW menswear presentation under the theme of’ESCAPES’.

Burberry’s Creative Director, Riccardo Tisci, presented the first men’s line exclusive presentation through this 2021 AW Menswear Collection, focusing on the deep relationship between nature, creation and dreams. This presentation, held at Burberry’s flagship store, London’s Regent Street Flagship Store, expressed a dynamic and lively feeling, unfolding a new view that seems to have shifted the road to an unknown place.

Recreating tradition and pursuing freedom of expression, this presentation uses pleats, panels, and fringes to express the movements of the wind to depict youth and vitality. The classic feeling of tailoring is emphasized, and Burberry’s house codes, trench coat and Burberry beige, have evolved and reflected in the design. The prints and patterns of Burberry Animal Kingdom, one of the signature house codes, were re-introduced, as well as a knitted beanie with a deer motif inspired by wild animals, cut-out boots and sneakers in the shape of a horseshoe. Burberry beige, dark brown, ox blood burgundy, city gray, light blue and pink color tones, and decorative details such as badges express the symbol of community and friendship.

Burberry’s founder Thomas Burberry’s optimism and thoughts of adventure are highlighted in this collection. Each look of this 21 AW men’s wear collection has expressed that it has a variety of functions and purposes. Looks symbolize reality, but they are collections that can be worn by those who have dreamed.
