With the declaration of the new President of the United States that the alliance will now be revived, our government’s movements have become busy once more. Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, who served with the Moon Jae-in administration from the beginning, was replaced.
Former Blue House National Security Officer Eui-yong Eui-yong was appointed to succeed.
Candidate Jung, a former diplomat, has been the control tower of the Blue House diplomatic security for three years since the inauguration of the Moon Jae-in administration.
Even after he stepped down in July of last year, he has been in charge of the presidential diplomatic security advisory.
The Blue House cited the launch of the Biden administration in the United States as one of the backgrounds for the change.

Incumbent lawmakers have been selected for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Minister of SMEs and Startups.
Both candidates for Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hwang Hee and candidate Kwon Chil-seung, Minister of Small and Medium Ventures, are reelected members of the Democratic Party.
Candidate Kwon, in his 21st generation, has served as the Party’s Small and Medium Business Special Committee.

Along with this, President Moon replaced Kim Hyun-jong, the second deputy head of the Blue House National Security Office, with former EU ambassador Kim Hyeong-jin and replaced the three secretaries at the Blue House.
