It is expected that a controversial pork soup restaurant in Busan will be suspended due to the fact that side dishes were recycled during live internet broadcasting.

On the 8th, the Busan Dong-gu Office announced that it was planning to take administrative measures for violating the Food Sanitation Act after visiting a pork soup restaurant located in Dong-gu on the same day and inspecting it.

According to the Food Sanitation Act business owner’s compliance requirements, if a restaurant reuses side dishes, etc., as an administrative measure, a 15-day business suspension is imposed immediately upon the first violation. In addition, imprisonment for up to three years or fines up to 30 million won are possible.

Previously, the scene of the restaurant staff recycling side dishes such as Kkakdugi was captured on the live broadcast screen of the Internet broadcaster (BJ) on the 7th.

At that time, employee A picked up the Kkakdugi left by the customer with tongs and served it in a large container, while employee B served the Kkakdugi in a large container on a side dish. Soon side dishes were served to customers as they were.

This scene was exposed on the live broadcast screen of’BJ Pie’, a famous broadcaster active on African TV. Unfortunately, on this day, BJ Pie conducted this broadcast to help work at this restaurant where his aunt works, and it was found that he was trying to donate twice the sales.

The video capturing the moment when the side dishes were recycled quickly spread to the Internet, creating controversy. The location and business name of the restaurant, which BJ Pie announced in advance, were also shared.

Afterwards, BJ Pie posted a post on his African TV page and said, “As a host, I sincerely apologize for the problem of food reuse today. I should have checked thoroughly, but I think I did it inexperienced.”

He added, “It is a content that is donated for a good purpose, so many people visited it and participated in it, but I think I was disappointed, so I feel heavy,” he added, adding that the restaurant will correct hygienic management and receive punishment immediately.”

Employee A also apologized, saying, “It was because I didn’t know well when I came to work today for the first time,” and “I think kimchi was clean, so I put it in a moment. I was guilty of dying.” BJ Pie’s relatives who run the restaurant also repeatedly bowed their heads and apologized.
