'Man U Legend' Rooney takes over and takes office as command tower in Derby County

Wayne Rooney, 36, who is the’Legend striker’ of Manchester United (hereinafter referred to as Manchester United) and who has scored the most goals in the history of the English national football team, has been named as the command tower of Derby County in the English Championship (second division).

Derby County announced on the website on the 16th (KST) that “we have appointed Wayne Rooney as the new manager” and that “Rooney will lead the team for 2 years and 6 months until June 2023.”

Rooney, who played for Everton and Manchester United (formerly England), moved to the U.S. in 2018 and played two seasons for DC United before returning to the British stage when he moved to the England Championship (second division) Derby County in August 2019.
