Police and fire authorities mobilized to report that reinforced bars had suddenly popped out of a manhole cover hole outside the factory, and when they opened the cover, a strange incident occurred in which a naked man was found and rescued.

According to the police and fire authorities on the 6th, at 11:20 pm on the 4th, a report was received at a factory in Paju, stating that “reinforcing bars are protruding from the manhole cover hole outside the factory facility.”

At first, the reported factory officials saw the reinforcing bar and considered it insignificant, but when they turned on the closed-circuit (CC) TV, it was reported that the reinforcing bar suddenly popped out.

The police and firefighters who were dispatched arrived at the scene and looked at it, and there was a popular ship in the manhole. When I knocked on the manhole cover, I heard a sound saying, “It’s noisy, be quiet.”

When the manhole cover was forcibly opened, there was a naked man crouching inside a little deeper than a person’s height.

This man, A in his 60s, was found to have symptoms of intellectual disability.

Fortunately, Mr. A, who was transferred to the hospital, is said to have no abnormalities in his body other than hypothermia.

The reason, the reason, or the duration of Mr. A’s entry into the manhole cover was not known.

A police official said, “(Mr. A) is in a difficult state to receive a normal investigation, and there is no one who knows the relationship or conduct of the factory workers, as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods,” he explained.

A factory official explained, “The manhole cover has never been opened, so it has been tightly closed, and there is no separate passageway to it, but there is no way to know how it entered.”
