Judge Park Jin-hwan, the sole criminal judge of the Seoul Central District Court, who has been hearing the case, moves to the Daejeon High Court. Deputy Judge Park dismissed the bail application filed by former reporter Lee since October last year, but decided to cite it only on the 3rd day before the expiration of the arrest period and released the former reporter.

Judge who raised the hand of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol also leaves in a temporary injunction lawsuit against former Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae to suspend the “two months of honesty” disciplinary execution. Deputy Judge Hong Soon-wook of the 12th Division of the Seoul Administrative Court moves to the Deputy Judge of the Seoul Northern District Law. In the case of the trial of former Minister Cho Kook in the 21st Criminal Agreement, the hearing on the case of’Yoo Jae-soo, former Vice Mayor of the Busan Metropolitan City’s prosecutor’s office Muma’ has ended, and the hearing on the’children’s entrance examination corruption’ has begun. The trial on the 15th of last month was postponed due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), and has not yet set a deadline.

The judiciary is also hearing the case of’Cheongwadae Ha Myung Investigation and Election Intervention’ by former Minister Cho, former Blue House Civil Service Secretary Baek Won-woo, and Ulsan Mayor Song Chul-ho. In this trial, the lawyers and the prosecution have been fighting over the adoption of evidence and access to investigation records. For this reason, the case was prosecuted in January of last year, but until now, the preparatory date for trial has been held six times and no formal trial has been held.

However, it is unclear whether Judge Kim will continue to take charge of the trial of former Minister Cho in the 21st criminal agreement. This is because the deliberation of the administrative division committee of the judges of the Seoul Central District Court, which shares the composition of the judiciary, remains. A court official said, “No matter how late, the divisional committee will allocate the court until the day before the appointment of personnel. It may change if you wish to have been in the court for too long, but it should be assumed that there is no set until now.”
