“Jeonbuk Hyundai has already achieved the best professional results, but we want to create a structure that will lead the K-League beyond that. I think that’s the point.”

Commissioner Ji-sung Park, who is commissioned as a Jeonbuk Hyundai adviser to begin full-fledged administrative work, expressed his feelings and determination at a press conference held at Hyundai Motor Studio in Goyang on the 21st. He is an advisor who advises on the system and the overall operation of the club and supports administrative work.

He served as an advisor to the Asian Football Federation (AFC) and the International Football Council (IFAB), and served as the head of youth strategy headquarters at the Korea Football Association, but this is the first time that he has received an official title from a professional football team, the flower of football administration. .

Commissioner Park said, “I have been studying administration a lot after retirement. I am happy to be able to start in the K-League, saying that I have done my administrative work sooner than I thought. I look forward to working with Jeonbuk Hyundai in the future.”

Jeonbuk is an absolute leader in the league that achieved the first four consecutive years in the K League last year. However, Jeonbuk is not satisfied with this, and recruits Park to take a leap into the world. As a player, Park played in big clubs such as PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Manchester United (England). Jeonbuk, the K-League’s best club, made a plan to reach the level of’untouchable’ that no one can touch by securing a powerful and structured system like those of Park’s tough teams.

As an advisor in Jeonbuk, Park cares most about the youth system. “No matter how good he/she achieves in the youth competition, we do not guarantee the success of the player. Regardless of their performance, we want to see how many players are sent to the first team and produce professional players.

Commissioner Park said, “I am trying to introduce the European method and system.” He expressed the idea that establishing a youth system that can achieve a virtuous cycle structure is the top priority.

Commissioner Park is receiving training in the UK as a leader. “I don’t want to be a professional coach, but I’m interested in teaching youth. There are also questions about how to turn a soccer player into a leader. Knowing that part will help exchanges with the leader, so I am going through the leadership course late. I don’t have any thoughts of daughter until P-class. I try to pick up to B. I don’t even think about getting an A,” he explained.

Some point out that it’s not the role of’face madam’ in silly words, but that’s not the case. Commissioner Park must visit Jeonju once in the first quarter and four times in a season. There is also a fixed period of stay once you come. You start out as part-time now, but in the future you may see yourself working in a different position. Commissioner Park said, “I have high expectations for starting my first job in Jeonbuk. It is fun to imagine how it will develop, and expressed his expectations.
