Red Hat releases’Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3′

[아이티데일리] Red Hat announced on the 15th that it has released the latest Linux platform’Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3′.

‘Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3’ has significantly improved performance, security and stability, and is designed to allow existing users to easily expand the system according to increasing business requirements by adding Linux containers and IoT-related functions. In particular, it supports lightweight tunneling technology and improves the performance of 40Gb and 100Gb network interfaces with an improved large-capacity packet memory allocation technology.

In addition, it supports high-speed, low-latency non-volatile memory devices, and supports block SCSI layout format and flex file layout format to enhance the management convenience of performance-sensitive parallel NFS clusters.

‘Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3’ provides a stable foundation for enterprise environments and workloads. Customers can build an integrated multi-site disaster recovery solution without custom or third-party solutions, which dramatically reduces deployment time and cost. It enhances support for Linux containers through improved management tools (Atomic CLI/Cockpit), updated container runtime (Docker engine) and numerous incremental improvements, and includes new container signing features in the preview version.

“As enterprise applications at the network and storage level become increasingly resource intensive, IT infrastructure must be able to anticipate and adapt to these requirements,” said Jim Totton, vice president and business unit, Red Hat Platform Business Unit. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 provides a more secure, reliable and innovative enterprise platform suitable for improved application performance and implementation of existing mission-critical workloads and new technologies such as Linux containers and IoT.”
