Selected a total of 26 companies in 25 general fields and 1 eco-friendly field
[한경잡앤조이=이진호 기자] The Gwangju University Startup Support Group is recruiting companies that participate in the early start-up package business in 2021 by the 15th to support commercialization of start-up companies with promising start-up items and advanced technologies. The Gwangju University Startup Support Group was selected as the best organizer of the initial startup package in 2020.
The initial startup package supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Startup Promotion Agency and supervised by Gwangju University is intended for early startups within 3 years of startup. It is a business that supports up to 100 million won in commercialization funds required for prototype production, acquisition of intellectual property rights, and marketing.
The targets for support are private and corporate companies founded from March 26, 2018 to March 25, 2021, and a total of 26 companies (25 in general areas and 1 in eco-friendly areas) will be finally selected through the evaluation process.
Selection evaluation proceeds with the procedures of qualification review, document evaluation, presentation evaluation, and on-site confirmation. Document evaluation is conducted for founders with qualification requirements among all applicants. Presentation evaluation (including mentoring) and on-site confirmation are conducted for about twice the size of the final selection. The final selected company is expected to carry out the project for about 10 months from May 2021 to February 2022.
The application period is until 6 pm on the 15th, and can be applied through K-Startup, the start-up portal site of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
