Recruiting 350 youth interns for global companies and startups in Seoul

The city of Seoul announced on the 25th that it is conducting a’Seoul-style Youth Intern Job Camp’ project that recruits young job seekers as interns to promising startups in global companies and new industries on the condition of paying education expenses and salaries.

The recruitment scale of youth internships is 350 young people aged 18-34, of which 20% or more are selected from among the vulnerable.

After receiving job training for 3 to 4 months, they are employed in the city of Seoul and are employed as interns for 3 months.

The city supports professional training expenses of about 3.5 million won per person and 2.2 million won per month for internship salaries.

Among them, more than 50 global companies including 3M, GM, and P&G, which are members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM) that the city has cooperated with since last year, are included.

They are all planning to recruit interns with a scale of about 100 people.

In addition, the Seoul Metropolitan Government decided to introduce youth interns by selecting more than 100 promising companies in the new industry in Korea.

The recruitment of participating companies is until the 29th of this month.
