Two hours later, Manchester United grabbed Fulham and took first place
The competition for the English Premier League (EPL) rankings is increasingly difficult.
Manchester United beat Fulham 2-1 in the away game at Craven Cottage in London, England on the morning of the 21st (Korean time). Manchester United are the first of the 20 clubs to reach 40 points (12 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses) to regain first place. Second place was Manchester City with 38 points (11 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses, goal loss +18). Manchester United ran undefeated for 17 consecutive games away. Unbeaten tie record for the club’s most visited consecutive years from December 1998 to September 1999.
The first place was replaced three times in 24 hours at EPL. Leicester City beat Chelsea 2-0 and led Manchester United to second place, but Manchester City defeated Aston Villa 2-0 and brought Leicester City down. And Manchester United, who played 2 hours 15 minutes later than Manchester City, jumped to the top. From 1st to 5th, the difference in points is only 7. 3rd place Leicester City 38 points (+14 goals), 4th place Liverpool 34 points, 5th place Tottenham Hotspur 33 points. The rankings change after sleeping.
