Qualcomm Technology (hereinafter Qualcomm) unveiled the 4th generation 5G modem-RF solution’Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system’ and announced on the 10th that a commercial terminal applying it will be released from the end of this year.

Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system is the world’s first modem-RF system based on 3GPP (Mobile Communication Standardization Technology Cooperation Organization) Release 16 supporting 10 Gigabit 5G speed.

Qualcomm has now started shipping prototypes to manufacturers, and aims to launch commercial devices within this year.

The Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system is designed to support the fastest 5G speeds available, enabling wireless communication similar to optical cables. It is characterized by making the most of the available bandwidth for the best network flexibility, capacity and coverage.
