“The case related to Mr. Cho’s admission is a case in which the defendant appealed after the court’s first trial decision was sentenced, and the lawsuit is currently pending.” Handling matters related to legal interests is contrary to the principle of presumption of innocence stipulated in the Constitution.”
In addition, he said, “In the case of Mr. Cho’s admission-related cases, if the authenticity of the admission documents is confirmed by the final judgment of the judiciary, the university will of course take strict measures according to the results of the judgment.”
Earlier, the president of Busan National University Cha Jeong-in said in a state audit last year, “We plan to make decisions on Cho Min, who is currently attending the medical office, through a deliberation body in accordance with the school regulations and application guidelines after the court’s final decision is made.”
