The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 7th that it will supply 45,000 rental housing for low-income families such as youth, newlyweds, and the elderly this year to provide housing security for low-income families. The type for this is newly established as the fourth priority.

Purchased lease is a housing that is rented inexpensively after a public housing operator such as Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) purchases and repairs existing housing, and has the advantage of being able to quickly supply housing that can be directly accessed within the city center. In detail, there are 21,000 households with a new purchase agreement, 8,000 households for public remodeling, and 16,000 households with an existing housing purchase method.

On the other hand, this year, the fourth priority category was newly established in Honeymoon II, the income standard for one-two-person households was eased, the scope of recognition for multi-child households was expanded, and the elderly can renew their contracts without limit. In the newly married type Ⅱ, the fourth priority will be newly established, which greatly eases the requirements for occupancy, for married couples who have not been able to apply for 7 years after marriage but have no children or who could not apply due to income and asset standards. The fourth priority can be applied if the monthly average income is 120% or less (140% for double income) and total assets are less than 330 million won. In addition, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has raised the income standard by 20 percentage points for single-person households and 10 percentage points for two-person households so that more households can benefit from purchase rentals.
