“In the light of the attitude that researcher Lim has shown so far, especially the contents related to his surveillance work through SNS, he does not seem to feel illegal consciousness about him, he said he was not equipped with the will, ability, and attitude to perform his job. I judge.”
He added, “My judgment is that the social media activities of (Rim researcher) violated all four basic duties borne by the prosecutor’s office in charge of the prosecution: the duty of confidentiality, the duty of non-disclosure, the duty of fair duty, and the duty to maintain dignity,” he added.
As one of the prosecutors’ prosecutors, Park said, “As a member of the prosecution, we propose to the Minister of Justice Park Bum-gye to exercise the right to immediately exclude Researcher Lim from the prosecution duty, and to the acting prosecutor general Cho Nam-gwan to initiate an immediate inspection.
Meanwhile, Researcher Lim was also subject to criminal prosecution by posting posts on social media. The civic group’solidarity of action to establish the rule of law’ accused Researcher Im to the prosecution, claiming that “disclosure of opinions related to criminal charges is a crime of secret leakage for public affairs,” and the case was allocated to the second criminal division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office.
