The ban on private gatherings of five or more people, which had been applied only to metropolitan areas such as Seoul, has been expanded nationwide starting today (4th). If five or more people are caught having a meeting at a restaurant, etc., a fine of 3 million won or less to the facility operator and 100,000 won or less to users will be imposed. On the other hand, some facilities, such as ski resorts and academies, can be opened on a limited basis starting today.

The 2.5 steps for social distancing in the metropolitan area and the second step for non-metropolitan areas have been extended for two more weeks from today to the 17th.
The ban on private gatherings for more than five people has been extended from the metropolitan area to the whole country.
At restaurants nationwide, only 4 people can be reserved and accompanied.
Even if 5 people meet and sit in 2 and 3 people, it is not allowed because 5 people have already gathered.
If this is violated, a fine of 3 million won or less to the operator and 100,000 won or less to the user will be imposed.
Weddings and funerals are exceptionally permitted, but only 49 people in the metropolitan area in the 2.5th stage and 99 people in the 2nd stage are allowed.
All religious activities nationwide must also be conducted non-face-to-face according to step 2.5.
Meetings or meals organized by religious facilities are prohibited.
However, the government has restricted the opening of some facilities such as ski resorts and academies.
Winter sports facilities such as ski resorts nationwide are allowed to operate, but only one-third of the capacity is accepted and must be closed at 9pm.
Equipment rental facilities and changing rooms can be operated, but additional facilities such as restaurants and cafes in the ski resort are prohibited from operating as before.
Schools and training centers in the metropolitan area have also been reopened.
The government allowed it to operate if there were no more than 9 teachers during the same time period, taking into account the problem of caring gaps during vacation.
