“No, Professor, why do you change your PC while you say that you are so proud?”

Jeong Gyeong-sim “Betrayed by the prosecution, we need to prepare for seizure and search”

Last year, attorney Lee In-geol (former chief of the Blue House Special Superintendent), who served as a defense for Professor Chung Gyeong-shim of Dongyang University during the prosecution’s investigation, rebuked Professor Jeong. Professor Jeong’s first trial verdict vividly contains the urgent process of concealing and replacing Professor Chung’s home and Tongyang University PC.

According to the ruling, attorney Lee In-geol, who did not change the hard disk of Professor Jeong’s home PC, said to Professor Jeong, “Why are you replacing the PC while saying that he is so proud. This is a useless misunderstanding.” Professor Jeong was charged with this attorney, and the lawyer resigned.

Fatherland, Kim Gyeong-rok, “Thank you for helping my wife”

Professor Jeong replaced the hard disk with the help of PB at his home on the 28th, the day after August 27, 2019, when the prosecution entered into a seizure and search for former Minister Cho. According to the ruling of Professor Jeong’s first trial, Professor Jeong told Kim, “I was betrayed by the prosecution. We must prepare for seizure and search.”

When Kim replaced the hard disk at Professor Jeong’s home, former Minister Cho arrived at the house and shook hands with Kim, saying, “Thank you for helping my wife,” and then went into the bedroom. Former Minister Cho explained at the plenary session of the National Assembly last year, “I only gave a ritual greeting (to Kim). I did not say thank you.” According to the ruling, former Minister Cho shook hands with Kim and stayed in the bedroom until he left the house.

The judge said that this “supports that the former Minister Cho heard from Professor Jeong in advance that Mr. Kim is coming to take out the storage media of his home PC.” This is because former Minister Cho did not ask Mr. Kim what brought him home. This is the content that former Minister Cho argues, saying, “It is not true.”

Kyung-Shim Jung “Who wouldn’t have seen me?”

Mr. Kim stated that during the prosecution’s investigation and in court, Professor Jeong made a phone call with former Minister Cho while going down to the East with him. According to Kim’s statement, “When former Minister Cho told Professor Jeong that the schedule was over, Professor Jeong said,’I am going down to Yeongju in the car that Deputy Kim is driving, and I will sleep in Yeongju overnight and go to Busan.'” . Mr. Kim also stated that “Former Minister Cho seemed to already know the reason why Professor Jung was going down to the East.

According to the ruling, Professor Jeong also said to Kim, “Who didn’t see me?” in the process of replacing the PC of Tong Yang University. The judiciary explained that “Professor Jeong is concerned that others might notice him taking out his PC.”

At the request of Professor Jeong, Kim, who replaced Professor Chung’s PC hard disk, was sentenced to two years probation in August in prison at the first trial. However, Professor Jeong was admitted to destroying his evidence along with Kim, and was not punished for destroying evidence. This is because it is not a crime to remove evidence against oneself under the current law.
