“Please pay attention to the case of (Sister) Princess Shamsha. Your help and interest may set her free.”

Princess Sheika Latifa al Maktoum, 35, the daughter of a Dubai ruler who revealed that she was “contained in a prison palace,” this time asked the British police to re-investigate the kidnapping of her sister 21 years ago. Princess Latifa is Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Almaktoum, 71, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and one of the more than 30 children of the Dubai monarch.

According to the BBC broadcast on the 25th (local time), a letter written by Princess Latipa was recently delivered to the British Cambridgeshire police through a friend. The content is calling for a re-investigation of the kidnapping of her sister Shamsa (then 18) on the streets of Cambridge 21 years ago.

Princess Latifa wrote in a letter that, with a picture depicting her sister brought back to Dubai, “with no trial or prosecution, she was out of contact and was beaten by her feet.” Interestingly, the date written on the letter is different from the actual date written. The letter said it was written in February 2018, but the BBC reported that the letter was actually written in 2019, when he was caught and incarcerated while trying to flee to the United States. He said he did not write the actual date because he feared that communication with the outside would be discovered.

In fact, British police initiated an investigation into the kidnapping of Princess Siamese in 2001, but the investigation was frustrated by restrictions on the police in charge of visiting Dubai. Afterwards, the British police reviewed the investigation records in 2018 as well, and a full-scale review was underway after the 2020 High Court ruling.

The Cambridgeshire police said they would “review in connection with the ongoing re-investigation.”

Meanwhile, on the 16th, the BBC revealed that Princess Latipa is being held hostage in a place like a’prison’ while being blocked from outside contact through the documentary’The Missing Princess’ video. He was caught trying to escape to the U.S. to escape his father in 2018 and was trapped.

Princess Latipa sat down crouching in a place believed to be a bathroom and took a selfie SOS video in a low voice. “Now I’m trapped in a jail mansion,” he said. “More than five bodyguards are watching me and threatening’if I’m wrong I’ll never see the sun again.'”
