[아시아경제 장세희 기자]Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun said on the 12th that the new coronavirus infectious disease (Corona 19) vaccination should be prepared as soon as possible by establishing a detailed vaccination plan so that vaccination can begin anytime after the end of January.

Prime Minister Chung said this after visiting the Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team installed at the Osong Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Chungbuk, and receiving a report on the status of vaccination preparation.

“It is a very difficult task to inoculate various types of vaccines to almost all citizens in a short period of time,” said Prime Minister Chung. “It is necessary to show the capabilities of the government by pouring out its national capabilities.”

Prime Minister Chung said, “The US and major European countries have already begun vaccination, but because the vaccination rate is slow compared to the original plan, there are concerns that a large amount of the vaccine may be discarded due to expiration.”

He emphasized that “in Korea, vaccination should never be delayed or the vaccine should be discarded.”
