Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun issued another warning letter to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
At a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 21st, Prime Minister Chung ordered the Ministry of Information and Communication to publicly improve the legal system for self-employment loss compensation.
The self-employment loss compensation system, which said that it had achieved consensus with President Moon Jae-in, directly put a brake on the self-employed loss compensation system when the Ministry of Information and Communication showed a negative current.
It is said that Prime Minister Chung was infuriated the day before when the first vice minister of the Ministry of Finance Kim Yong-beom said, “It is difficult to find a country that has been legalized.”
It is said that Prime Minister Jung raised his voice by saying, “Is this country the country of the Ministry of Information and Technology?” after receiving a report from Vice Minister Kim at the time.
Afterwards, Prime Minister Chung appeared on Yonhap News TV and criticized Kim, saying, “There are always opposition and resistance forces in the reform process, but in the end, they return to death.”
This is the second time Prime Minister Chung’s “beating the Ministry of Finance” after the nationwide disaster subsidies were paid in April. It seems that there are not only accumulated complaints against the Ministry of the Interior, but also the level of refining the discipline of public office in the second half of the rule.
It is said that Prime Minister Jung was not happy with the usual support policies of the Party Administration, saying, “Because we are in charge of saving the country, we can do that, but we must put the people first.”
An official in the Prime Minister’s Office said in a call, “What the Prime Minister strongly warned to the Ministry of the Interior this time was a sign of the’lame duck’ of the public officials society, and there was also a side to block it in advance.”
On the other hand, Vice Minister Kim Yong-beom, who was present next to Prime Minister Chung, said that after the meeting, he approached Prime Minister Chung and explained, “I didn’t mean that way.”
After meeting with reporters at the National Assembly, Vice Minister Kim said, “We will go into the discussion process by the National Assembly by reviewing in detail the plan to institutionalize loss compensation.”
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, on the 19th, Prime Minister Chung has already ordered the Ministry of Finance to prepare a law for the loss compensation system. At the time, it is said that the Ministry of Knowledge Economy did not make any difference.
