A public opinion poll came out on the 21st, saying that Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong ranked first with 27% of the support for the next presidential election.

Four companies specializing in public opinion surveys, including Embrain Public, Casestat Research, Korea Research, and Korea Research, surveyed 1006 voters aged 18 and over nationwide for three days from the 18th to the 20th (the sample error is 95% confidence level. ± 3.1% points), and the approval rate for this branch was 27%, up 3 percentage points from the previous survey (week 1 of January).

Lee Nak-yeon, representative of the Democratic Party, reported that the approval rating fell 2 percentage points from the previous survey to 13%, while Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol fell 6 percentage points to 10%.

In particular, the approval rating of Governor Lee recorded 45% within the support of the Democratic Party, which was 15 percentage points ahead of Lee (30%). This is 5 percentage points more than the previous survey.

In the support of the people’s power, Prosecutor General Yoon was the highest with 34%, followed by independent lawmaker Hong Joon-pyo (7%), followed by Ahn Cheol-soo, representative of the National Assembly Party (6%).

Meanwhile, in the by-election elections for the mayor of Seoul and the mayor of Busan, the respondents replied, “We must empower the ruling party for stable state administration,” and “We must empower the opposition party for judgment on state administration,” respectively. It appeared the same in %.
