At the time when Rep. Woo met with Mr. Lim, former Minister Park wrote on Facebook that he had a farewell dinner with President Moon. He emphasized his loyalty, saying, “I wanted to be in the Moon Jae-in government until the end.”
The reason that former Minister Park and Rep. Woo have highlighted the relationship with President Moon is that the votes of the pro-moon members can determine the competition within the party, which is the primary gateway to the Mayor of Seoul. Unlike the general public opinion poll, which is 100% of the people’s power, the Democratic Party has a ratio of ‘50% of the votes of the rights party and 50% of the general public opinion polls’, so it is difficult to pay attention to the party’s feelings.
The fact that former Minister Park and Rep. Woo have started to focus on pro-moon courtship from the beginning of the competition is also a testament to the fact that neither candidate had a clear advantage.
