President Moon Jae-in posted an SNS message saying, “We welcomed the return of the United States” immediately after the first normal call with US President Joe Biden at 8 am on the 4th.
President Moon said, “I just made a normal call with President Biden of the United States and welcomed the’return of the United States’ amid the overlapping global crisis such as corona, climate change, and economic polarization.”
“I and President Biden promised to upgrade the ROK-US alliance based on common values, and we are always together to respond to global issues as well as peace on the Korean Peninsula,” he wrote, “Let’s go together!”
