The president of an American auto repair company, who had not paid overdue wages, left about 90,000 one-cent coins sprinkled with oil in front of a retired employee’s home.

According to the AP news agency on the 25th (local time), Andreas Platen, who recently worked at an automobile maintenance company’Okay Walker’ in Peachtree City, Georgia, confirmed that coins were piled up in front of her house.

Flapen had a conflict with the representative because the maintenance company did not keep the office hours well, and left last November. When he left the company, the wage he had to receive was 915 dollars (approximately 1.31 million won).

But Platen, who had not received the money for several months, filed a report with the US Department of Labor. Eventually he was paid back wages, but something unexpected happened.

In front of Platen’s house, there was a pile of oil-soaked one-cent coins. Above this pile of coins was an envelope with his last pay stub. On the outside of this envelope, even FXXK YOU was written.

Platen transferred the coins he received as wages to a cart in the garage, then degreased them with dish soap and vinegar.

Later, in an interview with the local media, Platen criticized the former company, saying, “It will take time to exchange this money so that it can be spent.”

When this was known, Miles Walker, the representative of the maintenance company, said, “I don’t remember if I left the coin.”
