In that Twitter post, President Trump continued, “I have always said that we will continue our fight to ensure that only legitimate votes are counted.” (MAGA) Our fight to do’is just the beginning.’
President Trump’s mention of “peaceful transfer of power” can be interpreted as being conscious of an atmosphere of increasing responsibility, including the death of four people in the unprecedented violence of the US Congress. Democratic lawmakers demanded the impeachment of President Trump, who had only two weeks left, and criticism of President Trump was voiced even inside the Republican Party.
The US Congress confirmed the results of Biden’s next presidential election. Biden-elect secured 306 electoral votes (a majority of 270) in the state elections vote. The electoral team that President Trump has won is 232.
The inauguration ceremony of President-elect Joe Biden will be held on January 20 (local time).
