On the 3rd, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has unveiled the pre-subscription schedule for public housing in the metropolitan area including the 3rd new city.

The pre-subscription system is supplied one to two years earlier than the main subscription. If a winner is awarded, 100% occupancy is guaranteed if the homelessness requirement is maintained until the main subscription.

This pre-subscription starts in July in Incheon (1,100 households). Then, during July-August, it was implemented in Namyangju Jinjeop 2 (1400 households), Seongnam Bokjeong 1-2 (1000 households), Uiwang Cheonggye 2 (300 households), and the Noryangjin Subangsa site (200 households) in downtown Seoul. Among them, pre-subscriptions are in progress at Seongnam Sinchon (200 households), Seongnam Naksaeng (800 households), and Siheung Load (1000 households), including Namyangju Wangsuk 2 (1500 households).

From November to December, pre-subscription is in progress at the 3rd new towns such as Namyangju Wangsuk (2400 households), Goyang Changneung (1600 households), Hanamgyosan (1100 households), Bucheon Daejang (2000 households), as well as public housing sites such as Gwacheon and Ansan. . The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to supply 30,000 units early by this year, and the remaining 32,000 units to recruit tenants in 2022.

System improvement for advance subscription system is also promoted. The revision of the enforcement regulations of the Special Act on Public Housing to prepare the basis for the pre-subscription system will be completed in this month, and guidelines will be prepared by next month to stipulate the details of recruitment and selection of occupants.

An official from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport explained, “In order to prevent delays in the project after the pre-subscription, the district plan establishment and land compensation procedures for pre-subscribed districts such as the 3rd new town are also being carried out without a hitch.”
