Porsche Korea will officially launch mid-engine sports cars ‘718 Cayman GTS 4.0’ and ‘718 Boxster GTS 4.0’ in Korea.
The new ‘718 GTS 4.0’ is equipped with a four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine mounted on the 718 Spyder and the 718 Cayman GT4, with a maximum output of 407 horsepower and a time to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4 seconds and a top speed of 288 km/h h.
The model features adaptive cylinder control, direct fuel injection piezo injectors, and variable intake systems to enhance efficiency as well as a sporty driving experience.
The fast response of the engine speed reaching 7800rpm in an instant and the sound of the six-cylinder boxer engine generated by the dynamic damper control sports exhaust system provide driving pleasure.
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a 10mm lower chassis and Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with PSM Sport Mode, enhanced Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring System (PTV) with Mechanical Limited Sleep Differential Also mounted.
It includes 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels in satin-gloss black, high-performance tires, cross drill discs and an improved braking system with red-colored calipers. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) is available as an option.
The standard sports seat plus center panel is made of Alcantara, a design characteristic of the GTS model, and the multifunctional steering wheel, steering wheel rim, roof lining and A-pillar are made of Race-Tex.
The Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a high-definition 7-inch touchscreen are supported as standard, as well as an online navigation module with real-time traffic information and voice control, Porsche Connect, and BOSE® and Bumester high-end surround sound. The system is available as an option.
The vehicle price is 121.4 million won for the new 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 and 116.7 million won for the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0.
