According to the police on the 23rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency completed the mobile phone forensic work of Mayor Park, which resumed on the 17th. It is said that the forensic work was conducted under the observation of the bereaved family of Mayor Park and representatives from the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Mobile phones that have been subjected to forensic work It was found with Mayor Park’s body. In July, the police launched a forensic process, such as canceling the mobile phone password, and even proceeded with’imaging’ to move the entire information to prevent damage.

However, the survivors’ side filed a quasi-appeal requesting the court to stop forensics, and it was stopped after a week, and the Seoul Northern District Law dismissed the quasi-appeal on the 9th of this month, and it resumed after five months.

However, it is reported that the data secured by the police through this forensic is limited to revealing the history of Mayor Park’s death, such as Kakao Talk and text messages exchanged right before his death.

The police applied for a warrant for seizure and search twice to use mobile phone forensic data to resolve any suspicion that Park’s sexual harassment was aided by officials from the secretary’s office, but the court dismissed all of them.
