The Daily Mail reported on the 27th (local time) that the police arrested Jossimari Gomes da Siubu, 30, who lived in San Cristobo, Alagoa province in northeastern Brazil, for the murder of his daughter Brenda da Silva, 5, recently.
According to a police investigation, Gomes was found to have committed the crime in the bathroom of his home where he lived with his daughter.
Brenda’s grandfather, the father of a witness, Gomes, said, “While walking outside the house this day, I was surprised to see blood spilling from the external sewer,” he said. “When I opened the bathroom door, I saw a terrible sight.”
According to him, his granddaughter Brenda was lying on the floor in blood, while Gomez was holding scissors. Also, part of Brenda’s body has already been damaged.
Surprised, he went out screaming, and a surprised neighbor saw it and reported it to the police.
Police said that before Gomes was arrested, chewing something and muttering next to her daughter’s body.
Gomes, who is known to suffer from mental illness, initially denied the charges with incomprehensible claims such as “I killed the devil” and “My daughter is alive”, but eventually admitted that he killed and damaged parts of the body, police said.
The police explained, “It seems to have committed such a cruel crime by losing Lee Sung-il while having a seizure.”
