‘Police officer died’ in rush to US Capitol… Video posted just before the crime

A vehicle hit a barricade outside the US Capitol in Washington DC, killing a policeman and a suspect by being shot.

Washington DC police held a briefing this afternoon (3rd) to explain the course of the incident.

The incident occurred at about 1 p.m. local time in a barricade, about 91 meters from the entrance to the Senate side of the Capitol.

The suspect is a 25-year-old black man named Noah Green, according to American media, including CNN.

The suspect was struck by car at a checkpoint near the Capitol, then lowered and swung his sword at police officers before being shot and arrested.

Immediately after the incident, two police officers and the suspect were taken to the hospital, of which one police officer and the suspect eventually died.

American media reported that the suspect recently posted on social media that he was losing his job and suffering from illness and that the federal government is targeting and manipulating his mind.

The suspect also posted a link on his Instagram account two hours before rushing to the congressional checkpoint, a video containing the speech of the American Islamic leader, Louis Parakan, in the subtitle of the video: CNN reported that there was also a content called “The No. 1 Enemy”.

Washington DC Acting Police Commissioner Robert Conti says there are no more ongoing threats and the attacks appear to have nothing to do with organized terrorism.

The Senate and House of Representatives were on Easter holiday, so the lawmakers did not come to the Capitol on that day.

CNN reported that the death of a policeman guarding the parliament was the second time this year after a policeman was killed in a riot by Trump supporters invading the Capitol on January 6.
