Pohang fishing boat flooding accident… Jeon Jeon-cheol asked for “Do your best to save lives”

[아시아경제 임철영 기자] Ministry of Public Administration and Security Minister Jeon Hae-cheol reported on the situation related to the inundation of a fishing boat (Goryong Lake) that occurred at 6:49 pm on the 19th and requested that we do our best to save lives.

The former minister said, “Please do our best to save lives by utilizing all available resources by closely cooperating with related organizations such as the maritime and naval forces.” Please pay special attention.”

The accident was identified as a report that a fishing boat (Goryong Lake) was flooded at 43km off the coast of Gampo East in Pohang. As of 9 p.m. on that day, one naval ship, three guard ships, and three aircraft were dispatched to the site to conduct a search operation.

It is estimated that a total of 6 crew members, including 3 Koreans, 2 Vietnamese, and 1 Chinese Korean, were missing.
