Shinsegae International announced on the 21st that it will open Poare’s first store in the main branch of the Shinsegae Department Store on the 25th and start a full-fledged business.
The brand presents cosmetics that reinterpret the tradition of the fashion house’Paul Poare’ acquired in 2015 in a modern way.
First of all, by the end of this year, it will sequentially enter department stores such as Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam and Centum City and promote overseas expansion.
Together with the domestic market, it is also targeting overseas markets. Currently, it is in consultation with local partners to open stores in Paris, France and New York, USA with all of the European Cosmetics Certification (CPNP) process completed.

Shinsegae International, which imports and distributes leading luxury goods, is said to have conceived a business 10 years ago under the blueprint to leap into a company that creates its own luxury brands. This was realized in 2015 when the French brand’Paul Poare’, which launched the world’s first perfume as a fashion brand in 1911, was acquired in 2015.

Poare is releasing color (makeup) cosmetics and skin care line, which is a basic cosmetic product. In the case of color products, based on the brand philosophy that’diverse designs must exist so that the individuality of every woman can be respected’, more than 90 different products were developed. Skincare consists of three lines: regeneration, elasticity, and nutrition. The product price ranges from 22 won to 680,000 won for serum, 255,000 won to 720,000 won for cream, and 82,000 won for lipstick.
Shinsegae International reported that it has completed its own cosmetic brand portfolio through the launch of its fifth own brand, Poare.
