There were reports of child abuse three times after adoption, but it was known that Jung In-yang returned to her adoptive parents because there was no evidence of abuse, and the angry citizens commemorated Jeong In-i. A wreath in front of the prosecution and court contained a message calling for severe punishment for the perpetrator.

The Geunjo Wreath was established by members of the Korea Child Abuse Prevention Association. The association initially planned to install 70 garlands and 50 pinwheels, but a total of 80 garlands were installed. The garlands are displayed from 8 am on the 11th to 1 pm on the 15th.

On the wreath, “Prevent the tragedy of child abuse”, “Strengthen the Child Abuse Act”, “Please punish me for murder”, “Punish the prosecutor’s murderer for murder”, “The father of a married couple plan murder squad is also arrested”. There is written a message demanding severe punishment.

There were also phrases in commemoration of Jung In, such as “Jeong In-ah, I’m sorry and I love you a lot”, “Jeong In-ah, we will protect you now”, and “Jeong In-ah, please be born to an ajumma in the next life.”

The blue pinwheel was installed with the wish that the members wanted Jeong In-i to jump in the sky. Blue means bruising and suffocation in the abused child. The association installed garlands on December 14th to 18th and 21st to 28th of last year and commemorated Jeong In-i.
