Pharmaceutical society blocks illegal use of PharmIT3000 by herbal medicine companies

[의학신문·일간보사=김민지 기자] The Korean Pharmaceutical Association (Chairman Dae-Eup Kim) announced on the 10th that it confirmed illegal use of PharmIT3000 in pharmacies opened by some herbal pharmacies and took immediate action.

The pharmacy society explained that it recently blocked a report that the PharmIT3000 program was illegally used at a pharmacy that opened an herbal medicine company in Seo-gu, Incheon.

The pharmacy society warned that the use of illegal programs was stopped by sending an official letter to pharmacies opened by herbal medicine companies that used PharmIT3000 illegally, and that if they violated it, they would be held responsible for civil or criminal consequences.

Information and Communication Director Park Hee-sung emphasized, “We plan to immediately stop using PharmIT3000 by monitoring illegal use of PharmIT3000 in pharmacies opened by Korean pharmacies, and take criminal prosecution for violation of copyright law for illegal software use.”

He added, “For cases of illegal use of similar herbal pharmacies, we ask the Korean pharmacy community or the local pharmacy community to actively report it.”

On the other hand, the PharmIT3000 program stipulates that only members of the country who have reported their membership in the Korean Pharmacy Society’s regulations and contracts can use it.
