Business continuity management system (ISO 22301) refers to an operating system that maintains business continuity by restoring core business within the shortest time in the event of a risk of business interruption such as disaster, disaster, or failure.

As a result, it has been verified that the KNOC can perform the stockpiling and supply of oil (crude oil, products) at the headquarters and nine stockpiling bases without disruption through rapid recovery even in crisis situations such as disasters, thereby further enhancing its ability to respond to crises in oil supply and demand .

In order to obtain certification for oil stockpiling and supply, KNOC has established functional continuity plans for 9 stockpile bases and 8 related departments at the head office from December 2018. We have been preparing for certification, such as checking risks.

An official from the Korea Petroleum Corporation said, “I will try to make the business continuity management system more permeable to the organization through continuous revision and supplementation of ISO 22301 procedures and training.”
