In the 17th episode of SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama’Penthouse’ (played by Kim Soon-ok/director Dong-min Joo), which aired on December 22, it was revealed how Oh Yoon-hee (played by Yujin) killed Min Seol-ah (played by Jo Soo-min).

Oh Yoon-hee found Min Seol-ah’s apple necklace in her house and had to admit that he was Min Seol-ah’s killer.
The bigger problem is than Oh Yoon-hee’s later actions. Shim Su-ryun, who believes in Oh Yun-hee, confessed to Oh Yoon-hee that she was Min Seol-ah’s mother, and revealed that she had allowed Oh Yun-hee to enter Hera Palace as planned. Oh Yoon-hee showed the appearance of a red suit to Shim Su-ryun.

Rather than reflecting on her own mistakes, Oh Yoon-hee poured out resentment against Shim Su-ryun, who helped her, and gas-lit her daughter, Barona. In fact, it is impossible to erase the impression that the desire to use a daughter for a dream that she could not achieve was expressed through such obsession. He rationalized himself, saying, “Oh Yoon-hee. No one knows. I have to be strong. For Rona. Because I am a mother.”
Oh Yoon-hee has shown the appearance of a single mother who is poor but raises a daughter by herself. It was a character that was somewhat clunky and indistinguishable among viewers, but was not classified as a villain. However, the extraordinary love for her daughter had terrible results. Oh Yoon-hee, who tried to hurt Min-seol-ah several times, actually murdered Min-seol-ah. “Without you, we can pass the rona”, the poisonous thought eventually hit the job. It’s a terrible, unforgivable act to use as an excuse for her mother’s mind that she can do anything for her daughter. Maternal love cannot be an indulgence.
In addition, Oh Yoon-hee’s attitude toward Shim Su-ryun who helped him is making viewers angry. Oh Yoon-hee, who has nothing, was able to enter Hera Palace thanks to Shim Training. There would have been nothing that could have been accomplished without the help of Shim Su-ryun until Oh Yoon-hee came to her seat. Regardless of Shim Su-ryun, the scene where he killed Min-seol-ah and shouted to Shim Su-ryun, “Why did you touch me while I was still, and made me get involved with Min-seol-ah?” was amazing.
As a result, it seems difficult to convince viewers of Oh Yoon-hee’s behavior, which wraps up her actions for her own desires with maternal love and gets angry at the person who helped her. Earlier, Yujin introduced the character Oh Yoon-hee, saying, “He is a character that changes with the expression of his implicit desire little by little. The beginning and the second half of the drama seem to be different, but it would be fun to watch the change.” With the blackened Oh Yoon-hee emerging as the worst evil girl in the’Penthouse’, attention is paid to what kind of development will unfold in the future.
