Pearl Abyss (CEO Jung Kyung-in) announced on the 4th that the Black Desert console version has been named in the’MMORPG TOP 10 for PS5 and Xbox series X to enjoy this year’ selected by Forbes, an American economic media.
Forbes said about the Black Desert console, “The best combat out of any MMO (multiple access role game) released as a console. All characters provide an exciting experience and have a lot of fun. I could do it,” he said.
Black Desert Console is an MMORPG optimized for the console version, including fantastic 4K (UHD) quality, user interface (UI) implemented as a console, and fast and exciting non-targeting combat. It also provides high-quality quality of up to 120 frames of combat action, one of the advantages of Black Desert through next-generation devices.
It was evaluated as the first in the domestic console MMORPG genre to expand the range of fun by introducing’Cross-Play’, which breaks the boundaries between platforms. It is maintaining global popularity with constant content updates such as the recent release of a new class’Nova’. Currently, it is being serviced around the world and supports 9 languages including English, German, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese in the game.
Meanwhile, Pearl Abyss’ new work’Red Desert’, which was well received at The Game Awards, the largest game awards ceremony in North America, is also aiming to be released globally on console and PC platforms.
