This is more than that of CJ ENM Managing Director Lee Myung-han and Na Young-seok PD, who are well known for their high-paid salaries in the media and entertainment industry.

According to the electronic disclosure system of the Financial Supervisory Service on the 23rd, YG Entertainment paid a total salary of 1.87 billion won to a PD last year. In addition, the PD received 92 million won as severance pay and received a total of 1.93 billion won last year. One PD canceled the contract with YG Entertainment last year.

Earlier, it was reported that the total amount of remuneration received by Lee Myung-han and PD Na Young-seok of CJ ENM last year was 1.43 billion won and 1,229 billion won, respectively. Last year’s annual salary for one PD was about 500 million to 700 million won more than these.

A PD joined Mnet in 1998 and succeeded in’Produce 101′,’Show Me the Money’, and’Unpretty Rapstar’. After that, in 2017, he moved to YG Entertainment and directed JTBC’Mix Nine’.

He founded Funky Studio, a one-man production company, after an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired in November of last year. Recently, they are preparing a global idol production project with MBC.
