Danal Fintech, a blockchain subsidiary of Danal, an integrated payment service company, announced on the 17th that it will launch a bitcoin payment service.

According to Danal Fintech, customers with Bitcoin can use the merchant payment service within the Paycoin app. Even if you are not a merchant that accepts bitcoin as a payment option, you can directly convert your own bitcoins into Paycoin (PCI) within the Paycoin app and use them for payment. It means that all over 60,000 domestic Paycoin affiliated merchants can pay with bitcoin.

In the future, Danal Fintech announced that it will also introduce a service that converts not only Bitcoin but also Ethereum (ETH) and Icon (ICX) into Paycoin within the app to use for payment. We are also preparing a service that enables users to directly subscribe to these products within the app by linking with companies that provide investment products based on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and icons.

An official from Danal Fintech said, “We will launch a variety of virtual asset (cryptocurrency) payment and investment product subscription services as soon as possible in the first half of this year.”

The bitcoin payment service that Danal Fintech is launching this time is carried out by building a’Henesys Wallet’ in the Paycoin app through collaboration with the blockchain specialized company Hatch Labs.

Hennessy is an enterprise cryptocurrency wallet solution, providing a multisig (multi-signature) wallet through an API method. An official at Hatch Labs explained, “Customers such as banks, virtual asset exchanges, and blockchain startups can link their wallets to web and app services in just two days.”
