The National People’s Congress, a parliamentary event in China, passed a bill to reform the Hong Kong election system prior to its closing.

There were 2,895 votes in favor and one abstention. There was no objection.

It was unanimous.

The reorganization of the Hong Kong election system required a committee to pre-screen candidates for elections.

It means that we will fundamentally prevent anti-Chinese people from running for elections.

In addition, the proportion of elected electors in the electoral corps that selects Hong Kong administrative ministers has been reduced, thereby increasing the likelihood that pro-Chinese will become Hong Kong executives.

It was argued that patriots should rule Hong Kong.

Right now, the pan-democracy camp in Hong Kong revolted, and the United States and others made it clear.

The United States also sent destroyers in the Taiwan Strait a day before China’s Hong Kong electoral vote.

As US President Biden has emphasized democracy in Hong Kong, the conflict between the US and China over the reorganization of the Hong Kong election system in China is expected to increase.
