In addition, the Democratic Party, the government, and the Blue House decided to set the standard for the 4th disaster support payment to self-employed and small business owners in three sections (a damaged business, a group prohibited business, and a collective restricted business) as in the third subsidy In addition, we work to reconcile disagreements regarding the amount of support.

According to the Democratic Party, the party administration will hold a policy meeting on the afternoon of the 22nd and continue to discuss the 4th disaster support fund. It is known that Hong Ik-pyo, Chairman of the Democratic Party Policy Committee, Hong Nam-ki, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, and Kim Sang-jo, head of the Blue House Policy Office, are known to attend.

It is known that the draft of the government’s 4th disaster subsidy supplementary correction budget (additional budget) is reported to the council on that day. Based on the draft, the party administration conducts detailed reviews on the target and amount of disaster support payments.

Disaster subsidies for self-employed persons and small business owners are being considered promisingly to provide the same standard as the third subsidy. Earlier, the government paid 3 million won to the prohibited business (23.8 million people), 2 million won to the restricted group (810,000 people), and 1 million won to the rest of the general industry (1752 million) through the third subsidy.

In the first place, the party government has reviewed the payment of disaster support in proportion to the amount of damage under the principle of’thicker support’, but it is reported that it has set a policy to pay it in a flat-rate method while having difficulties in calculating the amount of damage.

In this regard, a key Democratic official said in News 1 and the currency that day, “the last time (third subsidy) was also differentiated. We will go similarly.” “The direction of minimizing blind spots by providing more sufficient support and raising payment standards I will go to it.”

The party government is aiming to significantly increase the amount of support for self-employed and small business owners. The government has offered an amount of up to 5 million won, but it is expected in the passport that it will be larger. It is known that the party government is also considering raising the amount of support per capita to a maximum of 7 million won.

It is expected that the additional budget will increase to a considerable level if the Party Administration raises the disaster subsidies for self-employed persons and small business owners and includes blind spots that have been excluded from the support target.

The Democratic Party is asking the government for an additional bill of over 20 trillion won, but the prospect is prevailing in finding a compromise with the government that offered 12 trillion to 13 trillion won to organize an additional budget of 15 to 20 trillion won.

Democratic Party chief spokesman Choi In-ho met with reporters at the National Assembly on that day and said, “I expect that the scale will be much larger than at the time of the 2nd and 3rd disaster support payments” regarding the size of the supplement.
