[이코노믹리뷰=최동훈 기자] Parking solution company Parking Cloud i Parking (hereinafter referred to as Parking Cloud) received tens of billions of dollars in investment, which was recognized for its growth.

Parking Cloud announced on the 22nd that it has attracted 25 billion won worth of investment from NHN Chairman Lee Jun-ho, the largest shareholder, and history venture investment.

This is a case of a new investment made three years after receiving an investment of 6 billion won from SK Networks in 2018. The investment that Parking Cloud has attracted so far amounts to 1135 billion won.

Parking Cloud is developing a parking lot operation business with an integrated parking control system as a core business material. Parking Cloud introduced AI Machine Learning Vehicle Number Recognition (LPR) and connected all parking areas (i-parking zones) operated nationwide by cloud. The headquarters’ integrated control center is remotely solving on-site issues in real time, and regular software updates to increase the vehicle number recognition rate are also in progress for free. Last year, it signed a partnership with Hyundai Motor Group and provided parking information and payment services to customers that are mounted on’CarPay’, a simple payment system inside the vehicle.
