The wishes of Democratic Party lawmaker Woo Sang-ho to’turn over the last minute’ did not finally come true. Rep. Woo, who challenged the Seoul Mayor for the second time by declaring that he could not run for the next general election, was defeated by former Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business Park Young-sun in the Democratic Party’s 4-7 Seoul Mayoral Candidate Competition.

As a result of the Democratic Party’s mayoral election, Rep. Woo reached a mere 36.46% in the vote of the rights party and 28.52% in the vote of the Seoul citizens’ general electoral group. Right after the announcement of the results on the day, Rep. Woo said, “I humbly accept the results of the contest,” and “I am confident that I was the happiest candidate in the world during the election campaign.” “There is now a bigger fight left,” he said. “We won when we become one, and we will do everything we can on the path to victory in the Democratic Party.” The goal is to admit the defeat with the fourth-round midfielder and to concentrate on winning candidate Park.

Rep. Woo, who belongs to the leader of the 586 group in the party, declared a run for the Seoul Mayor by-election as early as December 13 last year, and tried to win the vote of the party’s mainstream pro-moon again. It is because it is judged that there will be enough wins if the vote of the rights party is more than the Seoul citizens’ general electoral team. However, the pro-moon referee, who prioritized the competition in the finals, chose Candidate Park, who is ahead in terms of recognition. In a call with the Hankook Ilbo on the day, a key party official said, “The party members also seem to have chosen someone who can win the confrontation with the opposition candidate.” ‘Organization chart’ wouldn’t have worked because it preceded it.” Even though the election was held due to sexual misconduct by former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon, the head of a local government belonging to the Democratic Party, it was only a loss that Rep. Woo declared that Mayor Park a “role model” during the race.

The fact that the Democratic Party mayor of Seoul was not successful in the box office was an unfavorable environment for Rep. Woo who tried to overturn the market. Rep. Woo continued the race with Candidate Park from the beginning of the race with the’Woo-Park Siblings’ frame. Rep. Woo had a nervous battle for a while, saying, “It’s not like the Democratic Party,” over the ’21 minute compact city’, which is Park’s key pledge, but it was hard to find a fierce nervous battle. The number of views (11,5,623) of the two people’s three rounds of the contest was less than the number of views (23,721) of one contest between the opposition ‘Third Zone Candidate’ Ahn Cheol-soo and former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop. I couldn’t. Inside and outside the party, there is also a prospect that Rep. Woo will challenge the third mayor of Seoul in the local election in June next year.

The Democratic Party, which has finished the Seoul Mayoral Candidate, plans to finalize the unification of the candidate for pan-passport by the 8th. The Democratic Party will negotiate with Rep. Cho Jung-hoon, a candidate for the transition to the times, and Rep. Jin-ae Kim, a candidate for the Open Democratic Party.
