“Park Won-soon’s morality needs to be restored.”

The handwritten letter, which is believed to have been written by Kang Nan-hee, the late wife of the former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon, is spreading through online communities and social media on the 7th. It is unclear whether it was actually written by Mr. Kang, but aide from former Mayor Park such as Min Gyeong-guk, former Seoul city personnel planning secretary, also shared the letter.

The letter is for a total of 3 pages, including the’appeal’ sent to the National Human Rights Commission. This letter insists that mayor Park’s ‘belief in morality and restores it’. The date written in the letter is on the 6th, and the attached petition for the Human Rights Commission is on the 22nd of last month.

The writer, who identified himself as Mr. Kang, said in a letter, “In his first meeting with me 40 years ago, Park Won-soon said,’I will untie the knots entangled in the world’. From that moment to the remaining hours, Park Won-soon is my husband and my comrade “I wrote.

The author referred to the position of’People who remember Park Won-soon’ (Kisa Park) toward Mayor Park. The author said, “My husband, Park Won-soon, met numerous comrades and watched her dreams come true from the side,” he said. “But after seeing Park’s position, our family is in great sadness.” He then wrote, “I think the truth has not been revealed yet.”

Park Ki-sa’s side issued a statement on the 1st of last week after the results of the investigation by the Human Rights Commission, which concluded that Mayor Park’s actions were sexually harassed, came out and said, “I take the decision of the Human Rights Commission heavily and give deep consolation to the victims.”

The author wrote, “I know very well that my husband Park Won-soon is not that kind of person,” and “I believe in Park Won-soon’s life and trust him to the end.”

“The essence of Park Won-soon’s spirit that I have seen for 40 years is morality,” he said. “I think that I and my family should believe and restore Park Won-soon’s morality. This is the basis for Park Won-soon’s memorial, and through such a memorial, we and Together, we will continue our dream of changing the world.”

In the letter, he said, “I will keep my breathing, tie my shoelaces, and slowly think with all my heart about what to do to keep him ended,” and “I believe that all of you comrades will do well.”

Park Ki-sa is in memory of Mayor Park, and is promoting the’Park Mayor Archive’ project. President Song Kyung-yong of Anglican Church (Chief of Sharing and Future) is the representative.

One of the chairpersons of Park Ki-sa, Mr. A, answered “I don’t know” to the media question,’Is it correct that Kang wrote the letter?’ When asked if Mr. Kang has ever expressed regret for the announcement of a position to the effect of Park Knight’s acceptance of the results of the Human Rights Commission’s investigation, Mr. A said, “I’m not sure because I’m not at all involved in the actual operation of Park Kisa.”

The Seoul Metropolitan Government also replied “I don’t know” whether Kang actually wrote this letter.
