Meanwhile, the victim is going to attend a press conference on this day to reveal his heart. In 252 days after Mayor Park’s death in July of last year, this is the first time a victim has spoken out. Victims have been making their stance through reading letters and lawyers.

The victim’s statement by Standing Representative Song Lan-hee

I want to tell you before it’s too late. His power prevented him from telling him that he was wrong. His power has made him refining, refining, and thinking hundreds of times when he talked about his consciousness to others.

His power made me bear the full weight of his fault, even when it became more and more serious. His power made me fear the immense situation I would face when I lost what he had, rather than the damage I suffered from his fault.

His power continues to torment me with people who refuse to admit his faults even after he dies. His power was used as a means of protecting their ideology when those who thought they were the only justice were mercilessly tormenting me, and made me sympathize with what was bothering me.

His power is still strong.
